I love you!
This week was full of happiness and greatness. Heavenly Father is working through Elder Mckay and I and we are doing some real special things here. The language is lovely. I love Yisan haha. There are so many people around us. Members, investigators, missionaries. Everyone is so so awesome and I am having the best time.
We baptized Sister ทิพย์ yesterday! She is amazing. She has got more faith and testimony than about anyone else I've met. So so neat.
We have a few investigators from the Seventh Day Church who are doing real well. But last night we met up with one and I'm pretty sure her Pastor ( who we met with this week also ) has been telling and showing her Anti stuff because she came in hard and was saying the meanest things about our Church and Mormons and it was so sad. I love our Church. Bearing our testimonies of Prophets and the Book of Mormon felt so good and may have gotten to her a little bit. In the end we just promised her in the name of Jesus Christ that she would receive an answer if she would open her heart a little, truly ask God, and read the Book. Even if it was just one page. I think she has the Faith.
Our District is on fire. This district is so fun and so motivated and I love it. Each companionship has many investigators coming to church. On Sunday during Priesthood I sat in between three investigators and just felt this special brotherhood that the Priesthood brings. It is so real. I love it.
One day I fell off my bike and tackled over several motorcycles and mopeds and my splits companion Elder Flygare didn't stop laughing the rest of the day. Sometimes we play basketball in the mornings which is fun. We've also got an athletic district and that's the best.
Elder Mckay and I found two big black dudes who play soccer for one of the National teams here and you best believe we will be baptizing them soon. Abbo and George.
Had several tender mercies and many miracles happen this week with members and investigators and just everyone. I love my mission.
Elder McKay and I had 5 studly investigators at church this sunday and they all loved it. After Baptizing ทิพย์, she looked up with her big eyes, gave a thumbs up, and said: "เรียบร้อยแล้ว" which doesn't have a direct translation but kinda means 'completed' or 'job well done' or 'finished smiley face.' It was the sweetest thing and she bore the neatest testimony afterwards. Stoked for her future.
Thanks for the support and love.
Choose ye this day, to serve the Lord God who made you.
Let us turn our minds to the greater benefit of others.
I love you (: 💙
